The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Reno Munis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reno Munis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valente Barba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, one of Cardoso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Soto FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Txatxu Camats hit a great ball. Ruisko Cabeza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silban Salvia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lia Mozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Valente Barba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Soto FC's Lia Mozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valente Barba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Silban Salvia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reno Munis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valente Barba having to interfere. Uxio Arri charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uxio Arri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
