The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Iruretagoyena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teodoro Torto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Oroitz Laorden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orain Puerto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Torto in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oroitz Laorden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Maurin Ozores made a precise shot to the right of Oroitz Laorden. Centenario's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Victorio Larrategui made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Dante Iruretagoyena sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Torto scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oroitz Laorden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Orain Puerto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gloucester City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 33rd minute of the match Armando Villadiego shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorio Larrategui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Orain Puerto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gloucester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orain Puerto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oroitz Laorden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurin Ozores, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Orain Puerto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oroitz Laorden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oroitz Laorden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Torto in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Estevam Figueiras made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Orain Puerto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gloucester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Orain Puerto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oroitz Laorden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Torto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oroitz Laorden came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodoro Torto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 54th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Gloucester City's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Iruretagoyena came free, but Victorio Larrategui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gloucester City's Quintun Burbua was substituted for Teodoro Torto. After 72 played minutes Centenario got a freekick which was hit by Estebe Suesa. The audience was convinced that Quintun Burbua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oroitz Laorden was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orain Puerto in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oroitz Laorden saved Centenario from getting behind. A hard shot by Ceandro Rado from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Oroitz Laorden's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Gloucester City fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Gloucester City's Quintun Burbua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Iruretagoyena in the 84th minute of play forced Gloucester City's goalkeeper Victorio Larrategui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Centenario's Oroitz Laorden got control of the ball when Orain Puerto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oroitz Laorden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintun Burbua in the 90th minute of the match. Orain Puerto came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oroitz Laorden could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quintun Burbua in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oroitz Laorden saved Centenario from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, Centenario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Iruretagoyena to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Larrategui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevam Figueiras in the 97th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Estevam Figueiras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorio Larrategui was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Gloucester City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
