Oriental La Paz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mantzio Lejobeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes, Prospero Bernal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oriental La Paz and the Suarez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mantzio Lejobeitia couldn't finish the play. Harkaitz Rua struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Patxi Noguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oriental La Paz. Mantzio Lejobeitia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Patxi Noguer made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Zilar Senderos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suarez FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Suarez FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
