In the 16th minute Senon Ibarguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sasoin Veleña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atletico de Roma booed when Belveder AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Esparza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Urre Machicao came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Atletico de Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urre Machicao couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Henrique Cantos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sasoin Veleña was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belveder AFC's goalkeeper Sasoin Veleña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sasoin Veleña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Cantos's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When Kaxen Trielles fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico de Roma's protests and gave Kaxen Trielles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Kaxen Trielles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belveder AFC had won after a very even match.
