With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quique Hoyuelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pacorro Gorria kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Pacorro Gorria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Totisclan's zone, Natanael Frago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quique Hoyuelos came out of the goal and Natanael Frago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Leon Marine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Totisclan's Quique Hoyuelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Totisclan defense, Natanael Frago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quique Hoyuelos. The Totisclan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quique Hoyuelos should have stopped the shot. In the 28thth minute of the game Aloisio Horna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polanco AFC's Conrao Ocio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Etxekopar Resto came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Totisclan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Etxekopar Resto couldn't finish the play. Conrao Ocio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloisio Horna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Etxekopar Resto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quique Hoyuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Marine in the 36th minute of the match. Pacorro Gorria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Totisclan defense, Leon Marine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quique Hoyuelos. The Totisclan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quique Hoyuelos should have stopped the shot. The Totisclan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Polanco AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aloisio Horna was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natanael Frago got free with Quique Hoyuelos in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Polanco AFC's Conrao Ocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etxekopar Resto in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Totisclan got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Villamil. In the 72nd minute Benicio Movellan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quique Hoyuelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Totisclan getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hechter Marentos hit a great ball. Leon Marine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Marine in the 81st minute of play forced Totisclan's goalkeeper Quique Hoyuelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Polanco AFC's goalkeeper Conrao Ocio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quique Hoyuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Marine in the 85th minute of the match. Quique Hoyuelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Marine in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Etxekopar Resto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Totisclan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Polanco AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Polanco AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
