To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Savion Bolantin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eron Esquivel. Victoria AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Savion Bolantin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Inaki Alcala charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inaki Alcala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quintana getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Inaki Alcala hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Txanton Legarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicemte Cabaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicemte Cabaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txanton Legarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Txanton Legarda was the one to do the kick off. Vicemte Cabaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txanton Legarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Victoria AFC booed when Quintana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xepe Fuerte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cai Toribia kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Savion Bolantin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quintana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savion Bolantin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes, Quintana's Zuzen Sarralde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eron Esquivel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quintana reached it. Yiyo Yerro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arano Santianes's late challenge caught a Victoria AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arano Santianes helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 83 in the game by Everardo Capell from a close distance when the talented Eron Esquivel managed to make a qualified save. Victoria AFC's players were relieved. If Yiyo Yerro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yiyo Yerro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicemte Cabaña having to make a save. Txanton Legarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vicemte Cabaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txanton Legarda struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vicemte Cabaña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victoria AFC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quintana had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
