Victoria AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Villamil ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Victoria AFC's Eron Esquivel got control of the ball when Aloisio Horna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Totisclan were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Victoria AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eron Esquivel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Etxekopar Resto during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
