Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berasko Villadiego started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Bizen Monjo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vila's Orain Monasterio got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Dante Calenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Otsoa Tijera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Otsoa Tijera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Bergues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Coquimbo's Roque Bergues got control of the ball when Otsoa Tijera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roque Bergues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Berraondo in the 15th minute of play. Berasko Villadiego kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Lawrence Berraondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Otsoa Tijera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Berasko Villadiego put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bizen Monjo. In the 35th minute, Lawrence Berraondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Otsoa Tijera struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Roque Bergues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Lawrence Berraondo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Roque Bergues to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Jeremy Antuñano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bizen Monjo. Vila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremy Antuñano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Vila booed when Coquimbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinton Fontecha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Berraondo in the 61st minute of play forced Coquimbo's goalkeeper Roque Bergues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Quinton Fontecha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otsoa Tijera scored 3-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Bergues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Vila's Bizen Monjo got control of the ball when Jeremy Antuñano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Otsoa Tijera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coquimbo's Roque Bergues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Berasko Villadiego came free, but Bizen Monjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berasko Villadiego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bizen Monjo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Coquimbo's zone, Lawrence Berraondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Bergues came out of the goal and Lawrence Berraondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coquimbo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vila.
