Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Remicio Llantada took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Union FC's Xerardo Palmero got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 13th play minutes Remicio Llantada shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Xacobo Orejas and just under the crossbar into goal. Todor Borizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remicio Llantada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacobo Orejas having to interfere. Micael Terminel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Centro AFC's Udalaitz Jauregui got control of the ball when Argenis Sarantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gauargi Macias in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Udalaitz Jauregui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Argenis Sarantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Argenis Sarantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Union FC's Gauargi Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Loramendi Larrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Udalaitz Jauregui was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 43 minutes, Guillelmus Opazo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centro AFC and the Union FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Centro AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Udalaitz Jauregui went to the wrong direction when Gentza Abalos was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Argenis Sarantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Centro AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gauargi Macias made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argenis Sarantes in the 52nd minute of play forced Centro AFC's goalkeeper Udalaitz Jauregui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Union FC's Gauargi Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Micael Terminel might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xacobo Orejas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micael Terminel ran back to his position shaking his head. Remicio Llantada struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Xacobo Orejas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centro AFC. When Loramendi Larrea fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Union FC's protests and gave Loramendi Larrea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Loramendi Larrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argenis Sarantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Udalaitz Jauregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Union FC's Xacobo Orejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Union FC from getting a goal against them. Centro AFC's Udalaitz Jauregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gauargi Macias in the 83rd minute of play. When Gauargi Macias came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Union FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gauargi Macias couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Gauargi Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gauargi Macias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Centro AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
