David Crujeiras kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Echevarria's goal looked a bit too open when Gauargi Macias came free, but Roano Carcamo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Echevarria's Roano Carcamo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gauargi Macias in the 17th minute of play. Hever Galindo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hever Galindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hever Galindo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gauargi Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Roano Carcamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xencio Carrio charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 23rd match minute, Echevarria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xencio Carrio to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Gonza Villacian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xacobo Orejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xacobo Orejas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonza Villacian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. After 39 played minutes Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Xerardo Palmero. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gauargi Macias in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roano Carcamo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute, Amado Gabaldon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xacobo Orejas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonza Villacian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amado Gabaldon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacobo Orejas having to interfere. Echevarria's Roano Carcamo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Echevarria from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Amado Gabaldon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Echevarria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After 93 minutes, Nunez Calderero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Echevarria and the Union FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roano Carcamo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argenis Sarantes in the 95th minute. Echevarria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
