Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xinaro Telego to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Enetz Ompanera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience was convinced that Xinaro Telego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hitz Mendiune was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. If Juanito Proaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palma played a much better game than Florida and deserved their victory. The Florida players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
