Uhin Domaquia came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Orgoroso's Teo Arruga. But to his dismay, Teo Arruga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eztebe Fontova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sugar Cazarez having to interfere. Orgoroso's Sugar Cazarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Orgoroso from getting a goal against them. If Teo Arruga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uhin Domaquia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efraim Caño's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 28 played minutes, Horqueta's Kemen Villaciergo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sugar Cazarez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horqueta reached it. Sugar Cazarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eztebe Fontova in the 29th minute of the match. Ubarna Alcain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sugar Cazarez made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Txema Feliph during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Txema Feliph kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Eztebe Fontova struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sugar Cazarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horqueta. If Efraim Caño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Arruga in the 49th minute of play forced Horqueta's goalkeeper Uhin Domaquia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efraim Caño was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Horqueta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eztebe Fontova to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Teo Arruga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sugar Cazarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubarna Alcain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, Humberto Cayado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orgoroso and the Horqueta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sugar Cazarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Alcain, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Sugar Cazarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eztebe Fontova in the 71st minute of play. Efraim Caño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efraim Caño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Horqueta's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Cayado came free, but Uhin Domaquia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Horqueta getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jaen Cobo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Horqueta's zone, Seber Brufau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uhin Domaquia came out of the goal and Seber Brufau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seber Brufau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Horqueta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Rioz to maneuver through the defense. After 97 minutes, Seber Brufau made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Horqueta's Uhin Domaquia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Orgoroso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Horqueta throughout the match.
