After a defensive mix-up in Constitucion's zone, Diogo Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchazadec Gainzarain came out of the goal and Diogo Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Goiz Mijangos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Zaquiel Yurrita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Constitucion's Severo Loranca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zaquiel Yurrita. Zaquiel Yurrita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mel Segovia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Severo Loranca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Constitucion's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Loranca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zaquiel Yurrita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severo Loranca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goiz Mijangos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaquiel Yurrita having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Goiz Mijangos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severo Loranca was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Constitucion's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 39 minutes into the match, Constitucion's Severo Loranca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zaquiel Yurrita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Quintana FC's Endira Palenzuela got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Severo Loranca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Constitucion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Loranca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Loranca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zaquiel Yurrita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zadornin Feijo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Quintana FC's Diogo Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchazadec Gainzarain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Udalaitz Hebia fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Constitucion's protests and gave Udalaitz Hebia a yellow card for diving instead. Udalaitz Hebia kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Quintana FC's Diogo Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Constitucion got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Zarzosa. The audience cheered loudly when Endira Palenzuela's long shot in the 71st minute became 1-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Melchazadec Gainzarain. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Che Tornero during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Constitucion's Che Tornero got a free kick in the 75th minute. Melchazadec Gainzarain was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zadornin Feijo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. Goiz Mijangos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaquiel Yurrita having to interfere. The Constitucion fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Constitucion's Goiz Mijangos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 86 minutes of play, Constitucion's Goiz Mijangos made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zaquiel Yurrita was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tono Avina during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Quintana FC got a freekick which was hit by Tono Avina. Constitucion's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
