Chacarita's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jorge Perero 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ferreira FC's zone, Maties Vegal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ebardo Navariega came out of the goal and Maties Vegal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ferreira FC's Eutor Zuñiga got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Mark Galisteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ferreira FC booed when Chacarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelmiro Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chan Maza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ritchie Casanueva having to make a save. After 67 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Arindez. Clementi Tomas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ritchie Casanueva.
