Mario Sancibrao made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gaudencio Paredes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Bengoechea in the 15th minute of play forced Caraguata's goalkeeper Jon Entrena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urre Caldera in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Entrena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dacio Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Urre Caldera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Guillermo Ahijado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Sancibrao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Ahijado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Mario Sancibrao skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Urre Caldera struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jon Entrena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabellos. A collision led to Caraguata getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Loiola Herruz hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Ahijado made a kick off. Marco Bengoechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Entrena having to interfere. Isadore Mirones hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urre Caldera during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mario Sancibrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Ahijado in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Caraguata booed when Cabellos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belasko Estevis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Cabellos's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Ahijado came free, but Mario Sancibrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Sancibrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Cabellos got a freekick which was hit by Anxo Godoy. Mario Sancibrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Marco Bengoechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
