Zayvius Redonet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Azubeli Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Caldero in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azubeli Baeza saved Montevideo Runark City from getting behind. When Marcelo Colina fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florentino AFC's protests and gave Marcelo Colina a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Colina kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Goito Ludueña, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Caldero in the 20th minute of play forced Montevideo Runark City's goalkeeper Azubeli Baeza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Guillerme Gos mouthed his way into the referee's book. During the 32nd minute of the match Guillerme Gos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guillerme Gos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Montevideo Runark City's Guillerme Gos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Cordearo Piñeros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. The Montevideo Runark City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Florentino AFC were winning 0-1.

Cordearo Piñeros might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Buisan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordearo Piñeros ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Gancedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Buisan having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Naldo Caldero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iratxo Sebastian during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Florentino AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Iratxo Sebastian hit a great ball. Cordearo Piñeros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mariano Buisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cordearo Piñeros sped through Florentino AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Buisan. If Naldo Caldero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Cordearo Piñeros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Buisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
