Pepito Villagarcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Peñarroja in the 27th minute of play. When Eloi Pis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Zapican FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloi Pis couldn't finish the play. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Zapican FC's Valiente Abar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Michael Castro. Pepito Villagarcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Widberg in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezkerra Miel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ezkerra Miel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
