Epifanio Hermida got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 8th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. If Epifanio Hermida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martxelin Chillon kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Centurion booed when Sarandi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Mirabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidor Haedo in the 27th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Centurion got a freekick which was hit by Rios Manojo. After having played for 41 minutes, Stig-Ove Widberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarandi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Widberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eutropio Villaboa made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerrold Labra during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sarandi FC's Jerrold Labra got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Michael Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Hermida in the 55th minute of the match. Michael Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Hermida in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Sarandi FC's Jerrold Labra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Michael Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidor Haedo in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Isidor Haedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centurion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Michael Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Hermida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidor Haedo took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Castro. Michael Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Isidor Haedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Epifanio Hermida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centurion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 86th minute, Jerrold Vicuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Eguia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eutropio Villaboa went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Sarandi FC's Michael Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Hermida in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Centurion players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
