Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Inko Iravedra made the kick off which started today's match. Pietro Doñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inko Iravedra in the 5th minute of play. If Agostinho Bellmunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Artigas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viator Ucero to maneuver through the defense. Conchillas FC's Pietro Doñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inko Iravedra in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Inko Iravedra made a precise shot to the right of Pietro Doñez. Conchillas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Agostinho Bellmunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agostinho Bellmunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pietro Doñez having to interfere. Inko Iravedra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conchillas FC's Remicio Velazquez got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 minutes, Sotero Valmayor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artigas and the Conchillas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Conchillas FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Segundo Trueba hit a great ball. With a little luck, Conchillas FC's Pietro Doñez got control of the ball when Heriberto Para tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sotero Valmayor hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pinto Guazo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ascencio Isla, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Inko Iravedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artigas's Agostinho Bellmunt got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ascencio Isla took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pinto Guazo. Pinto Guazo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Americo Curcio's late challenge caught a Conchillas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Curcio helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Artigas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Conchillas FC:s goal. Pinto Guazo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remicio Velazquez in the 80th minute of the match. When Remicio Velazquez came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Conchillas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remicio Velazquez couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Artigas's zone, Ascencio Isla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pinto Guazo came out of the goal and Ascencio Isla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Conchillas FC's Remicio Velazquez in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Artigas's goalie prevented a goal. After 86 played minutes Conchillas FC got a freekick which was hit by Mel Laiseca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inko Iravedra in the 88th minute of play forced Conchillas FC's goalkeeper Pietro Doñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Ignacio Barriga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conchillas FC's Pietro Doñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inko Iravedra in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inko Iravedra in the 95th minute of play forced Conchillas FC's goalkeeper Pietro Doñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pio Sandines fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conchillas FC's protests and gave Pio Sandines a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Conchillas FC's Pio Sandines got a free kick in the 97th minute. After having played for 98 minutes, Inko Iravedra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artigas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inko Iravedra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Conchillas FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Artigas for much of the match.
