When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Inko Iravedra took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benedicto Remirez to make any attempt to save it. In the 11th minute, Artaldo Malsepica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pinto Guazo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Inko Iravedra came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Artigas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inko Iravedra couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Artigas got a freekick which was hit by Rey Verdejo. Pinto Guazo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Masbernat went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Lourenco Orden's late challenge caught a Pinchazo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenco Orden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Lourenco Orden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Masbernat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Remirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inko Iravedra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinchazo's Benedicto Remirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inko Iravedra in the 57th minute of play. Agostinho Bellmunt might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Remirez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Pinchazo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Remirez should have stopped the shot. Lucas Masbernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pinto Guazo having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Artigas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viator Ucero to maneuver through the defense.
