Conchillas FC's Pietro Doñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordero Brufau in the 12th minute of play. If Remicio Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Pinera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remicio Velazquez came free, but Bakar Colomo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Aitor Bueres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 28 in the game by Cordero Brufau from a close distance when the talented Pietro Doñez managed to make a qualified save. Conchillas FC's players were relieved. 32 minutes into the game, Ascencio Isla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bakar Colomo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Natalio Lino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Conchillas FC's goalkeeper Pietro Doñez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aitor Bueres. Cordero Brufau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pinera FC's zone, Remicio Velazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bakar Colomo came out of the goal and Remicio Velazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Conchillas FC's Ascencio Isla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bakar Colomo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 46 played minutes Pinera FC got a freekick which was hit by Edwardo Melgar. Ascencio Isla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Bakar Colomo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mel Laiseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bakar Colomo having to interfere. Bakar Colomo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remicio Velazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Conchillas FC got a freekick which was hit by Pio Sandines. Alberino Gaztelumendi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Bakar Colomo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remicio Velazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Conchillas FC's Remicio Velazquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bakar Colomo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Mel Laiseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Conchillas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Conchillas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
