Valentin AFC's Erasmo Roa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Legazpi in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Valentin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hurko Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Valentin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ilazki Cia. Erasmo Roa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimas Legazpi in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Valentin AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pasqual Barga hit a great ball. Valentin AFC's Ilazki Cia got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Cubillo's late challenge caught a Valentin AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Cubillo helped the player get up and apologised. When Dimas Legazpi came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Artigas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimas Legazpi couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Roa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimas Legazpi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Florencio Cubillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Roa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Cubillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimas Legazpi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernado Ruedas charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernado Ruedas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Artigas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernado Ruedas to maneuver through the defense. Ilazki Cia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordairo Sonibas having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimas Legazpi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cordairo Sonibas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilazki Cia in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Artigas AFC's Florencio Cubillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Roa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Dimas Legazpi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Roa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Ibar Berrez made a precise shot to the right of Cordairo Sonibas. Artigas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Florencio Cubillos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Erasmo Roa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th match minute, Artigas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chuse Oruña to maneuver through the defense. Florencio Cubillo in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erasmo Roa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dimas Legazpi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pasqual Barga kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Erasmo Roa stood somewhat misplaced when Dimas Legazpi came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 83 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Valentin AFC's zone, Florencio Cubillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Roa came out of the goal and Florencio Cubillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimas Legazpi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Roa having to interfere. If Florencio Cubillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
