The supporters of Mataojo booed when Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iratxo Castañeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Lomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Piedeconcha in the 33rd minute of play. Tauro Laurencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Leo Piedeconcha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Lomas was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The wind increased when Leo Piedeconcha made the kick off in the second half. Waldir Lomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Piedeconcha in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Mataojo's Leo Piedeconcha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldir Lomas. Waldir Lomas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors FC's zone, Tauro Laurencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Lomas came out of the goal and Tauro Laurencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Mataojo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Warriors FC throughout the match.
