The audience was convinced that Hipolito Zabarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rito Pedros was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Tymoteusz Janiczek's late challenge caught a Tambores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tymoteusz Janiczek helped the player get up and apologised. Tymoteusz Janiczek kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Rito Pedros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Zabarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the match, Pacho Vaquerizo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xuan Milla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tambores FC's Xuan Milla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tambores FC from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, Tambores FC's Bernardino Viesca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rito Pedros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Tambores FC defense, Tymoteusz Janiczek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xuan Milla. The Tambores FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xuan Milla should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Deportivo Canabico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Udalaitz Abel came free, but Rito Pedros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xuan Milla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Janiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Tymoteusz Janiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Zabarte made a kick off. When Pacho Vaquerizo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Deportivo Canabico F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacho Vaquerizo couldn't finish the play. Cai Cariga kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Tambores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Janiczek came free, but Xuan Milla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tymoteusz Janiczek in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xuan Milla saved Tambores FC from getting behind. Tymoteusz Janiczek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xuan Milla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pacho Vaquerizo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 76th minute, Tymoteusz Janiczek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Rito Pedros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tymoteusz Janiczek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82ndth minute of the game Pacho Vaquerizo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tambores FC's Xuan Milla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, António Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Canabico F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tambores FC the free kick. António Almeida hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Pacho Vaquerizo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuan Milla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xuan Milla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Janiczek in the 95th minute of the match.
