Quinito Bizoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Aro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quinito Bizoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pacifico Pierredonda's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Illescas's Dominic Ruidiez got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Froilan Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Illescas's Quinito Bizoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacifico Pierredonda in the 17th minute of play. Quinito Bizoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Aro in the 18th minute of play. Quinito Bizoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacifico Pierredonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alonzo Aro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Pueblo Goite made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Txema Quijano sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Santos Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Txema Quijano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pueblo Goite having to interfere. If Pacifico Pierredonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quinito Bizoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Aro's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Txema Quijano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pueblo Goite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Darwin AFC defense, Txema Quijano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pueblo Goite. The Darwin AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pueblo Goite should have stopped the shot. Zeruko Cabriada hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Darwin AFC's Alonzo Aro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match, Pacifico Pierredonda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Quinito Bizoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dominic Ruidiez's late challenge caught a Darwin AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominic Ruidiez helped the player get up and apologised. Dominic Ruidiez hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Quinito Bizoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Aro in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Illescas's zone, Alonzo Aro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinito Bizoso came out of the goal and Alonzo Aro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bidari Frances hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Pacifico Pierredonda in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Quinito Bizoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Darwin AFC's Pueblo Goite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Rubin in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Txema Quijano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Illescas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Txema Quijano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Rubin in the 85th minute of play forced Darwin AFC's goalkeeper Pueblo Goite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Illescas fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Illescas's Txema Quijano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Darwin AFC's Gabrio Porrata shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Quinito Bizoso but with some difficulty. Froilan Rubin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pueblo Goite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darwin AFC's Pueblo Goite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bidari Frances in the 97th minute of play.
