Montes Estibalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jabier Afonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Montes Estibalez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrillada AFC's goalkeeper Jabier Afonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jabier Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutor Darripe in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lincoln FC's Leobardo Huera got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eutor Darripe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Lincoln FC defense, Rico Pascalin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Montarco. The Lincoln FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Montarco should have stopped the shot. When Ezequiel Teijeiro fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerrillada AFC's protests and gave Ezequiel Teijeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Cerrillada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Teijeiro. Montes Estibalez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Jabier Afonso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Cerrillada AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Renato Sarro hit a great ball. Cerrillada AFC's Jabier Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutor Darripe in the 63rd minute of play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
