Gavino Osa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's goal looked a bit too open when Ireno Subiza came free, but Gavino Osa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ireno Subiza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Ireno Subiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Osa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Paulino Alguerdo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Topador FC and the CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Topador FC's Napier Martinena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlondon Moiselo in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ireno Subiza to make the kick off. When Eusko Olalla came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Topador FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusko Olalla couldn't finish the play. When Ireno Subiza in the 53rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gavino Osa kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Omar Sala kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Ireno Subiza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Osa. CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ireno Subiza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Topador FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlondon Moiselo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
