The Horqueta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's zone, Estebe Irizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Osa came out of the goal and Estebe Irizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gavino Osa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bashar Bo Shehri in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juango Yunibarbia to maneuver through the defense. Estebe Irizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Osa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juango Yunibarbia during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, Estebe Irizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Osa. CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Estebe Irizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bertol Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlondon Moiselo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Juango Yunibarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertol Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Orlondon Moiselo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertol Sabino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's Gavino Osa got control of the ball when Estebe Irizar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlondon Moiselo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Juango Yunibarbia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertol Sabino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 42 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's goal looked a bit too open when Bashar Bo Shehri came free, but Gavino Osa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 3-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Bashar Bo Shehri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Estebe Irizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gavino Osa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bashar Bo Shehri made the kick off in the second half. When Horqueta's Bashar Bo Shehri in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's goalie prevented a goal. Gavino Osa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Horqueta's Estebe Irizar. But to his dismay, Estebe Irizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 61st minute, Bashar Bo Shehri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Horqueta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's goalkeeper Gavino Osa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juango Yunibarbia got free with Bertol Sabino in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6-2 became the score in the 67th minute when Bashar Bo Shehri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Estebe Irizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Osa was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Estebe Irizar scored 8-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Osa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79th play minutes Bashar Bo Shehri shot 9-2, a short shot which went by Gavino Osa and just under the crossbar into goal. 82 minutes into the game, Horqueta's Estebe Irizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Osa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-2. Gavino Osa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebe Irizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 94th minute of the match Juango Yunibarbia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Juango Yunibarbia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Juango Yunibarbia hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Horqueta were the better team. Horqueta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
