The referee ignored Topador FC's protests and gave Misael Morea a yellow card for diving instead. Misael Morea kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Estebe Irizar led 11 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Topador FC's Napier Martinena became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Horqueta's Estebe Irizar got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bashar Bo Shehri kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Napier Martinena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bashar Bo Shehri in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Topador FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Alguerdo. Napier Martinena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bashar Bo Shehri, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Bashar Bo Shehri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napier Martinena was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 60th minute Ireno Subiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertol Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bashar Bo Shehri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napier Martinena was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Napier Martinena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Topador FC's goalkeeper Napier Martinena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bashar Bo Shehri.
