The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toribio Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gaur Villarino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Siro Gorron fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vejigas FC's protests and gave Siro Gorron a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Vejigas FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Gorron. Maximo Villametide hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Masoller AFC's goalkeeper Baraquiel Balmori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Confesor Igarza. Gaur Villarino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toribio Dominguez in the 18th minute of the match. Gaur Villarino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toribio Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Baraquiel Balmori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Ibarlucea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baraquiel Balmori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Ibarlucea in the 26th minute of the match. Gaur Villarino came out of the goal and Toribio Dominguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Maximo Villametide made a precise shot to the right of Gaur Villarino. Vejigas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Vejigas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Masoller AFC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Maximo Villametide made the kick off in the second half. Delmar Ibarlucea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baraquiel Balmori having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Ibarlucea in the 56th minute of play forced Masoller AFC's goalkeeper Baraquiel Balmori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fortun Miquel fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masoller AFC's protests and gave Fortun Miquel a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Masoller AFC's zone, Confesor Igarza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baraquiel Balmori came out of the goal and Confesor Igarza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Delmar Ibarlucea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vejigas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Ibarlucea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baraquiel Balmori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baraquiel Balmori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Ibarlucea, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Vejigas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Masoller AFC:s goal. Baraquiel Balmori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Ibarlucea in the 99th minute of play. The Masoller AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Masoller AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
