Mosquitos's Gotzon Susvilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mosquitos from getting a goal against them. When Narciso Candelaria came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Mosquitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Candelaria couldn't finish the play. Goi Inguanzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xerardo Sarasola having to interfere. Gotzon Susvilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristofor Panguision, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Mosquitos got a freekick which was hit by Romelio Eguilaz. In the 28th minute of the match, Haitz Riesgo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gotzon Susvilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gotzon Susvilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristofor Panguision in the 34th minute of the match. Narciso Candelaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Goi Inguanzo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Mosquitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manni Torrez to maneuver through the defense. Soca AFC's Xerardo Sarasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goi Inguanzo in the 55th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eudoxio Robira's late challenge caught a Mosquitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eudoxio Robira helped the player get up and apologised. Eudoxio Robira kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Videl Munne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xerardo Sarasola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Candelaria in the 79th minute. Goi Inguanzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A long shot from Andy Salvadios in the 82nd minute of play was well struck, but Xerardo Sarasola made a really good save at the right post. The supporters of Soca AFC booed when Mosquitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romelio Eguilaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, Mosquitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goi Inguanzo to maneuver through the defense. The Mosquitos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Soca AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
