Dani Rugama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blanco Cruz in the 8th minute of the match. Cilio Ocariz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Columbo Uranga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chacarita booed when S.C. Aliack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garaona Alvadalejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Mikelar Pachistre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and S.C. Aliack's Columbo Uranga didn't even have to move. Bixintxo Sereno struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Columbo Uranga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita. 35 minutes into the match, S.C. Aliack's goal looked a bit too open when Cilio Ocariz came free, but Columbo Uranga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cilio Ocariz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Columbo Uranga having to interfere. Bixintxo Sereno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Columbo Uranga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Nobal during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for S.C. Aliack. Gergori Valcarce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dani Rugama. 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blanco Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Ulises Urquiola got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cilio Ocariz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. After 69 minutes, Mario Sicilia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Aliack and the Chacarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C. Aliack's goalkeeper Columbo Uranga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Ulises Urquiola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cilio Ocariz in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Columbo Uranga saved S.C. Aliack from getting behind. With a little luck, Chacarita's Dani Rugama got control of the ball when Ulises Urquiola tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, one of Chacarita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chacarita. Gergori Valcarce walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cilio Ocariz in the 93rd minute of play forced S.C. Aliack's goalkeeper Columbo Uranga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Mario Sicilia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bixintxo Sereno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Columbo Uranga having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Chacarita lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
