In the 14th minute of the match, Humberto Luengas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Walme Dicastillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Riffo AFC's Timoteo Huguet got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Club de Fútbol la Era defense, Lizar Olaverrieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walme Dicastillo. The Club de Fútbol la Era fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walme Dicastillo should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Ezkerra Boiso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ederono Llamazares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ezkerra Boiso might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ederono Llamazares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezkerra Boiso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Humberto Luengas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walme Dicastillo. The goal made the score 2-1. Pasqual Guill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ederono Llamazares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Ezkerra Boiso made a precise shot to the right of Ederono Llamazares. Riffo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Riffo AFC's Ederono Llamazares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezkerra Boiso in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pasqual Guill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ezkerra Boiso in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ederono Llamazares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ederono Llamazares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pasqual Guill in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Riffo AFC's Cayetano Dacorrega got a free kick in the 59th minute. Pasqual Guill in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ederono Llamazares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Club de Fútbol la Era's Ekialde Lereira got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 77th match minute, Riffo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lizar Olaverrieta to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Ezkerra Boiso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club de Fútbol la Era were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
