Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luke Chumacero in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ederono Llamazares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Nestares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ederono Llamazares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ederono Llamazares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Chumacero in the 12th minute of the match. Cristiano Nestares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ederono Llamazares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Fermoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alonzo Armendariz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Armendariz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Luengas in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Queguay's zone, Cristiano Fermoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Armendariz came out of the goal and Cristiano Fermoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Luengas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Luengas got free with Alonzo Armendariz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 37th minute, but Alonzo Armendariz got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Queguay hanging dry this time. In the 48th minute Cristiano Fermoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Armendariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Luke Chumacero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ederono Llamazares having to interfere. Luke Chumacero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ederono Llamazares having to make a save. If Humberto Luengas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Queguay's zone, Cristiano Fermoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Armendariz came out of the goal and Cristiano Fermoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Nestares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ederono Llamazares made a huge save. Cristiano Nestares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Nestares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ederono Llamazares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Queguay's Chesus Pimentel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ederono Llamazares. After 88 minutes, Lizar Olaverrieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riffo AFC and the Queguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Lizar Olaverrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Queguay got a freekick which was hit by Chesus Pimentel. The Riffo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Queguay's performance. The match ended with a win for Queguay.
