The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdense AFC's Benat Pumareto got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Gonzales struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Beat Isoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdense AFC. When Valdense AFC's Benat Pumareto in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MANYA's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Motel in the 15th minute of play forced Valdense AFC's goalkeeper Lando Sarandeses to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MANYA's Beat Isoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save MANYA from getting a goal against them. Benat Pumareto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MANYA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasco Gonzales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benat Pumareto made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Benat Pumareto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdense AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benat Pumareto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beat Isoba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vasco Gonzales came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Valdense AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Gonzales couldn't finish the play. Tirso Puredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Motel in the 60th minute of play forced Valdense AFC's goalkeeper Lando Sarandeses to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Igon Grado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igon Grado scored 2-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beat Isoba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vasco Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beat Isoba having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Valdense AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
