Pacifico Falconi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tanio Villadiego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustau Arteaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanio Villadiego having to interfere. When Millrick Sesma came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Millrick Sesma couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Cordareo Baul dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciano Ruidiez, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gustau Arteaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. peñarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustau Arteaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanio Villadiego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, peñarol's Tabby Cantiello got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ciano Ruidiez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Quintanadueñas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lizer Morillas scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciano Ruidiez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, peñarol's Gustau Arteaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanio Villadiego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustau Arteaga was the one to do the kick off. Tanio Villadiego acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Galtero Aro. Tanio Villadiego made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Pacifico Falconi sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Millrick Sesma made a precise shot to the right of Tanio Villadiego. Cerrillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When Tabby Cantiello fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored peñarol's protests and gave Tabby Cantiello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Cerrillos. In the 85th minute Javier Aldama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciano Ruidiez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, peñarol's Gombal Zuri got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Thomas Caspe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciano Ruidiez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cerrillos could leave the field as winners, despite peñarol having more of the ball for most of the match.
