Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zumar Madrid got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurken Rosines in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iyan Rodezno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfredo Laores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iyan Rodezno having to interfere. The supporters of nacional booed when Union AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pacho Ortuño didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Hormilla in the 14th minute of play forced Union AFC's goalkeeper Frantxizko Olivarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iyan Rodezno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Laores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Wilfredo Laores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Laores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iyan Rodezno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frantxizko Olivarez came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by nacional's Urbano Hormilla. But to his dismay, Urbano Hormilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Urbano Hormilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frantxizko Olivarez. Union AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbano Hormilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Urbano Hormilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frantxizko Olivarez having to interfere. Wilfredo Laores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Laores stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
