Etxahun Gadañon's late challenge caught a Gualicho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Etxahun Gadañon helped the player get up and apologised. Etxahun Gadañon kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, nacional's goalkeeper Iyan Rodezno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Berda. In the 10th minute, Lonzo Varaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Iyan Rodezno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanson Oton in the 14th minute of play. Urbano Hormilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacindo Rancel having to make a save. The supporters of Gualicho booed when nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxahun Gadañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Estevam Lomas in the 21st minute really tested Iyan Rodezno's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lorenzo Berda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th match minute, Gualicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Sandines to maneuver through the defense. After 46th play minutes Urbano Hormilla shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Jacindo Rancel and just under the crossbar into goal. The Gualicho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. nacional were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Zumar Madrid made the kick off in the second half. If Zumar Madrid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iyan Rodezno came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Gualicho's Lorenzo Berda. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Berda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 64 minutes into the game, Xaver Escrig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gualicho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave nacional the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gualicho's Estevam Lomas got a free kick in the 69th minute. After recieving a nice pass, nacional's Beat Igartua tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gualicho's Jacindo Rancel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Gualicho from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd match minute, Gualicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hotz Torroba to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Lonzo Varaona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gualicho the free kick. In the 76th match minute, nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lonzo Varaona to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Urbano Hormilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacindo Rancel. Gualicho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbano Hormilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. After 90 minutes of play, nacional's Zumar Madrid made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacindo Rancel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Etxahun Gadañon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. If Zumar Madrid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gualicho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. nacional were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
