In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vichadero's goalkeeper Iyan Ruesga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josepe Resco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martinez Gandulla having to interfere. When Regis Michel fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichadero's protests and gave Regis Michel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Regis Michel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andoni Cancela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martinez Gandulla. Vichadero's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hibai Melgar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Iyan Ruesga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Vichadero's goal looked a bit too open when Hibai Melgar came free, but Iyan Ruesga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kinsen Vigalondo's late challenge caught a Vichadero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kinsen Vigalondo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Vichadero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kinsen Vigalondo to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Vichadero's Urki Gorron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martinez Gandulla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vichadero's Iyan Ruesga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hibai Melgar in the 37th minute of play. Firmin Reinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Martinez Gandulla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Precioso Mantecon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martinez Gandulla skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urki Gorron made a kick off. Vichadero's Iyan Ruesga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hibai Melgar in the 53rd minute of play. Urki Gorron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gudesteo Barbajero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Gudesteo Barbajero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vichadero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gudesteo Barbajero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hibai Melgar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vichadero's supporters rose to their feet, but Hibai Melgar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iyan Ruesga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josepe Resco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vichadero's Martinez Gandulla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Vichadero from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Vichadero defense, Gudesteo Barbajero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iyan Ruesga. The Vichadero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iyan Ruesga should have stopped the shot. Josepe Resco in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martinez Gandulla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hibai Melgar in the 87th minute of play forced Vichadero's goalkeeper Iyan Ruesga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Josepe Resco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vichadero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josepe Resco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Firmin Reinosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vichadero's Regis Michel got a free kick in the 96th minute. Vichadero's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
