Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donio Echague started the match with the kick off. The supporters of NACIONAL booed when Las cabañas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Carlos Intriago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Dorol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donio Echague in the 5th minute of play. Las cabañas's Conrado Dorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donio Echague in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of NACIONAL booed when Las cabañas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonsalvo Baltuile didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th match minute, Las cabañas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pietro Morais to maneuver through the defense. NACIONAL's Maore Jares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save NACIONAL from getting a goal against them. Lano Gualda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan-Carlos Intriago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Maore Jares made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Espiridion Espelz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maore Jares, 1-1. Juan-Carlos Intriago came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maore Jares could save by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Espiridion Espelz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan-Carlos Intriago struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Maore Jares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las cabañas. 55 minutes into the match, NACIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Espiridion Espelz came free, but Maore Jares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Las cabañas got a freekick which was hit by Gaizko Vaz. After 66 played minutes NACIONAL got a freekick which was hit by Senen Sotelo. Conrado Dorol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bembe Mascire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes NACIONAL got a freekick which was hit by Fernanco Piñeiro. Juan-Carlos Intriago hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Conrado Dorol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bembe Mascire in the 75th minute of play. Maore Jares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espiridion Espelz in the 80th minute of the match. Fernanco Piñeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bembe Mascire in the 84th minute of play forced Las cabañas's goalkeeper Conrado Dorol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Espiridion Espelz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maore Jares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Espiridion Espelz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maore Jares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espiridion Espelz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maore Jares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. NACIONAL were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
