Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) PEÑAROL's Kevin Orchua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bautista Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hermon Adarzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Checa Allonca charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Checa Allonca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Checa Allonca hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Chan Doles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piraraja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chan Doles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermon Adarzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bautista Iban in the 6th minute of play. Froilan Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PEÑAROL's Hermon Adarzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chan Doles in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, PEÑAROL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Checa Allonca to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in PEÑAROL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Isaio Puredo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 20th minute, Bautista Iban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Bautista Iban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEÑAROL's Hermon Adarzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Benet Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEÑAROL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benet Bustamante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chan Doles scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermon Adarzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benet Bustamante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bruno Trexo made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Piraraja's goalkeeper Bruno Trexo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benet Bustamante. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bautista Iban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hermon Adarzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chan Doles in the 54th minute. PEÑAROL's Hermon Adarzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Iban in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PEÑAROL's zone, Chan Doles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermon Adarzo came out of the goal and Chan Doles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Orchua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Piraraja's Bautista Iban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermon Adarzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PEÑAROL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piraraja the free kick. The supporters of Piraraja booed when PEÑAROL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onbera Ferreiras didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bautista Iban came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Piraraja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bautista Iban couldn't finish the play. Bautista Iban did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Hermon Adarzo 89 minutes into the match. Hermon Adarzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bautista Iban in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Piraraja could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PEÑAROL throughout the match.
