Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benet Bustamante took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hermon Adarzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bembe Mascire in the 3rd minute of play. Maore Jares was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Benet Bustamante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benet Bustamante really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Donio Echague recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Benet Bustamante fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. NACIONAL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Benet Bustamante scored to the left of an out of position Maore Jares, making the score, 2-1. If Lano Gualda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of NACIONAL booed when PEÑAROL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Frexes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermon Adarzo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by NACIONAL's Bembe Mascire. But to his dismay, Bembe Mascire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Lano Gualda might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermon Adarzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lano Gualda ran back to his position shaking his head. Donio Echague took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermon Adarzo. Hermon Adarzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Donio Echague blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermon Adarzo having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, NACIONAL's Bembe Mascire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermon Adarzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Urki Castella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Hermon Adarzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donio Echague stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maore Jares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benet Bustamante, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Lano Gualda hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A hard shot 54 in the game by Donio Echague from a close distance when the talented Hermon Adarzo managed to make a qualified save. PEÑAROL's players were relieved. After having played for 56 minutes, Benet Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEÑAROL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benet Bustamante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maore Jares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Frexes in the 57th minute of play. Fernanco Piñeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Hermon Adarzo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 62nd minute Benet Bustamante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maore Jares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donio Echague could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Hermon Adarzo made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Hermon Adarzo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cornelio Frexes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hermon Adarzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donio Echague in the 71st minute of the match. Isaac Freiria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Hermon Adarzo made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL's Benet Bustamante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maore Jares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Lano Gualda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermon Adarzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senen Sotelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Senen Sotelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermon Adarzo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Frexes in the 83rd minute of play forced NACIONAL's goalkeeper Maore Jares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of PEÑAROL booed when NACIONAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernanco Piñeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Cornelio Frexes made a precise shot to the right of Maore Jares. NACIONAL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Donio Echague could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Hermon Adarzo made a huge save. Hermon Adarzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bembe Mascire in the 95th minute of play. NACIONAL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
