Hermon Adarzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of PEÑAROL booed when Las cabañas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Carlos Intriago didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to PEÑAROL getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Checa Allonca hit a great ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Juan-Carlos Intriago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEÑAROL's Hermon Adarzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan-Carlos Intriago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hermon Adarzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Onbera Ferreiras kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Las cabañas's Juan-Carlos Intriago in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PEÑAROL's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Espiridion Espelz sped through PEÑAROL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermon Adarzo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 52 minutes of play, Las cabañas's Juan-Carlos Intriago made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermon Adarzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL's goalkeeper Hermon Adarzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan-Carlos Intriago. Juan-Carlos Intriago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pietro Morais during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Pietro Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliveiro Muzquiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conrado Dorol. PEÑAROL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felo Pelegri ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Felo Pelegri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hermon Adarzo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Las cabañas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
