With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xofre Aumente in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermon Adarzo saved PEÑAROL from getting behind. Gilmar Rodezno struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Hermon Adarzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soca AFC. PEÑAROL's Hermon Adarzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save PEÑAROL from getting a goal against them. Gilmar Rodezno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes PEÑAROL got a freekick which was hit by Onbera Ferreiras. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benet Bustamante to strike the kick off in the second half. When Xofre Aumente came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Soca AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xofre Aumente couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Soca AFC's Xofre Aumente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermon Adarzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 58th match minute, Soca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dantel Ezquerra to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Soca AFC's Gilmar Rodezno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermon Adarzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PEÑAROL's Hermon Adarzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Rodezno in the 76th minute of play.
