Diaz Hortega yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, 8 de Octubre's Cerilo Jorge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gelacio Lasalde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Solis's goal looked a bit too open when Cerilo Jorge came free, but Gelacio Lasalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Edwardo Cortez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 8 de Octubre the free kick. Yader Estarrona might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gelacio Lasalde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yader Estarrona ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, 8 de Octubre's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Anton came free, but Diaz Hortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Solis's goal looked a bit too open when Gudesteo Corton came free, but Gelacio Lasalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timo Anton in the 28th minute of play forced 8 de Octubre's goalkeeper Diaz Hortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, one of 8 de Octubre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 8 de Octubre. 8 de Octubre:s Diaz Hortega showed great skill when he stopped Eduardo Saboya:s penalty. In the 31st minute, Eduardo Saboya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cerilo Jorge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelacio Lasalde came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by 8 de Octubre's Yader Estarrona. But to his dismay, Yader Estarrona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Solis booed when 8 de Octubre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gudesteo Corton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Yader Estarrona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gelacio Lasalde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bazkoare Fariñas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute Cerilo Jorge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelacio Lasalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The wind increased when Yader Estarrona made the kick off in the second half. 8 de Octubre's Diaz Hortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bazkoare Fariñas in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match, Cerilo Jorge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gelacio Lasalde was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Katia Mones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Katia Mones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 8 de Octubre and the Solis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Solis booed when 8 de Octubre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katia Mones didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Cerilo Jorge fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solis's goalkeeper Gelacio Lasalde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Yader Estarrona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gelacio Lasalde. Solis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yader Estarrona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 82nd minute, Cerilo Jorge made a precise shot to the right of Gelacio Lasalde. Solis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Gelacio Lasalde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Katia Mones went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. Yader Estarrona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gelacio Lasalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 de Octubre's Cerilo Jorge got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 de Octubre played a much better game than Solis and deserved their victory. The Solis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
