Soca were furious when Paskal Abaunza was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 41 minutes into the game, one of Soca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bordat Vinayo, was totally fooled by Ordeig's Xantalen Corrillos, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
