Pablo-Enrique Parte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xandro Nurueña having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Andresito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo-Enrique Parte came free, but Xandro Nurueña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xandro Nurueña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo-Enrique Parte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kepa Fragua made a kick off. If Ramiro Cubo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Criston Cotillos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Cayetano Poblaciones fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund's protests and gave Cayetano Poblaciones a yellow card for diving instead. Cayetano Poblaciones kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Xandro Nurueña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Parte in the 69th minute of play. Ramiro Cubo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xandro Nurueña having to interfere. Ramiro Cubo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pablo-Enrique Parte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goren Somarribas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Xandro Nurueña was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Ramiro Cubo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiro Cubo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Pablo-Enrique Parte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo-Enrique Parte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the game, Pablo-Enrique Parte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xandro Nurueña. Pablo-Enrique Parte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Ramiro Cubo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Borussia Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Cubo couldn't finish the play.
