Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Darwin's Txurio Fontarigo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Txurio Fontarigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cortez Ursua. Vera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Txurio Fontarigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th minute of the match Darwin got a corner. Vera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xaime Villaelrriego ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xaime Villaelrriego made a great header on Darwin's corner, it was just that Vera's Cortez Ursua managed to reach the ball for a save. Ugaitz Placencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Beremundo Candelera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Txurio Fontarigo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Darwin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Txurio Fontarigo couldn't finish the play. Diegotxe Prieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Ceandro Zaloña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beremundo Candelera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ugaitz Placencia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ugaitz Placencia was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Vera's goalkeeper Cortez Ursua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diegotxe Prieto. Cortez Ursua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txurio Fontarigo in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Xian Balladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimas Echaez kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Darwin's Xaime Villaelrriego shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cortez Ursua but with some difficulty. If Diegotxe Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diegotxe Prieto might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cortez Ursua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diegotxe Prieto ran back to his position shaking his head. Diegotxe Prieto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Cortez Ursua when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Vera's goal looked a bit too open when Txurio Fontarigo came free, but Cortez Ursua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xian Balladares hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Munio Biembengén got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-2. 89 minutes into the match. Ugaitz Placencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Beremundo Candelera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diegotxe Prieto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Cortez Ursua made a huge save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
