Nel Mercado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Barker's goal looked a bit too open when Benet Colomo came free, but Yago Aceves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlo Beneitez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Garaile Esqueda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Nel Mercado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Arlo Beneitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nel Mercado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garaile Esqueda in the 24th minute. Escudero AFC's Nel Mercado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garaile Esqueda in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Urtungo Laredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Barker's corner Rogerio Pinilla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nel Mercado quite easily take care of the ball. In the 77th minute, Arlo Beneitez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norino Ochandiano got free with Yago Aceves in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th match minute, Barker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Palos to maneuver through the defense. If Benet Colomo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Barker booed when Escudero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oroitz Bollo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Escudero AFC's Norino Ochandiano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yago Aceves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urtungo Laredo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Angelino Aranzazu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
