Maldonado AFC's Iaki Burset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hitzeder Maxenchs in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Maldonado AFC's Domenec Orejas got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Domenec Orejas fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maldonado AFC's protests and gave Domenec Orejas a yellow card for diving instead. Domenec Orejas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Iaki Burset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Manterola in the 15th minute of the match. When Achiras's Thomas Manterola in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maldonado AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Iaki Burset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Manterola in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Enekoitz Guanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36thth minute of the game Hitzeder Maxenchs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maldonado AFC's Iaki Burset was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Maldonado AFC's zone, Hitzeder Maxenchs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iaki Burset came out of the goal and Hitzeder Maxenchs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Maldonado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Manterola came free, but Iaki Burset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iaki Burset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hitzeder Maxenchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Hitzeder Maxenchs got free with Iaki Burset in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maldonado AFC's Angelino Romillo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Manterola was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Achiras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 58th minute, Cresitobalo Ontova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iaki Burset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hitzeder Maxenchs in the 59th minute. Hitzeder Maxenchs struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Iaki Burset didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achiras. In the 68th minute, Achiras's Thomas Manterola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iaki Burset. Iaki Burset yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Iaki Burset didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hitzeder Maxenchs went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Achiras's Thomas Manterola got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Cresitobalo Ontova was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maldonado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achiras the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Maldonado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresitobalo Ontova to maneuver through the defense. 0-3 became the score in the 81st minute when Thomas Manterola elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Achiras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
